AFter 6 hours of adding a twitter follower from Chicago, i asked for her number and gave her a call. We ended up talking on the phone for hours, sharing life with each other. This continued daily for the next 2 weeks..10,000 text messages and over 2,000 minutes used...our love struck hearts decided we couldnt continue without affirming that these feelings we had for what was once a stranger nearly 14 days prior. So i took a leap of faith to meet this new found love and bought a plane ticket from LA to Chicago, where i flew out 7 days later. When i landed, both of our hearts were racing with anticipation and hope. Each step towards the baggage claim where she was awaiting me, felt like a mile. When our eyes locked from 50 yards away we raced towards each other and proceeded to embrace eachother in the middle of the airport for the next 10 minutes as if two lovers separated for years.I too had nearly forgotten that this was the first moment of us meeting. She proceeded to give me a kiss as i handed her a dozen roses. We walked on to explore the city and each others hearts, hand in hand for the remainder of the weekend.
